TELL THE TRUTH: Did you flip your heap sooner than you piled on the autumn’s bountiful selections–sooner than you cleaned up the tomato vines and the hostas, and raked all these treasured leaves? Did you extract what was “accomplished” from down beneath, or–in a rush–merely cowl all of it up with incoming goodies?
